Assuming its mandate in January 2015, the SUPPLY CHA!NGE project brings together 29 civil society organizations from across Europe, as well as partners from the Global South. In a collaborative EU-wide effort, we are striving to find solutions to the growing challenge of reducing the environmental impacts and improving the working conditions along the global supply chains of store brand food products in European supermarkets.
Activities in all Europe have been taking place during the European Year of Development 2015 and are now completed. For updates from the project that continues throughout 2016 and 2017, please visit the international version of this webpage.
Based in Brussels, the European Environmental Bureau is focusing on influencing the European Institutions in favour of the Supply Cha!nge project.
The EEB is the largest federation of environmental citizens’ organisations in Europe. It currently consists of over 150 member organisations in more than 30 countries (virtually all EU Member States plus some accession and neighbouring countries), including a growing number of European networks, and representing some 15 million individual members and supporters.
